A rabbit may have bacterial infections too. The first indication of this disease can be runny nose or eye along with a high temperature. It may also be that there is a rattling sound from the rabbit’s lungs or (rarely) a coughing sound. Never neglect this and contact the vet as early as you can. These diseases can be cured if they are identified in the early stages. The bacterium is called Pasteurella and can be cured with newer antibiotics.
